FluxTunes 1.7 Released
August 8th 2010
Version 1.7 of FluxTunes is now available. This update fixes some issues relating to running under iOS4 (in particular track artwork not updating properly after a sync while FluxTunes is backgrounded).

- Compatibility fixes for iOS4.0 (in particular the shuffle mode display issue)
- Higher resolution graphics for some application images
- Minor presentation improvements

Strimko 1.2 available now

Version 1.2 of Strimko™ for the iPhone™ and iPod touch® is now available for purchase on the App Store.
Strimko 1.2 is now available for download. New in this update are support for Spanish and integration with OpenFeint.
With the integration of OpenFeint, Strimko players can now:
* Earn achievements by completing puzzles and performing well in the game
* See what your friends are playing
* Chat with other OpenFeint users in chartrooms and forums
* Discover other great OpenFeint-enabled games

FluxTunes FREE for one day

In association with freeappaday.com, our gesture-based music player, FluxTunes, is available FREE for today only (4th February, US time zones).
FreeAppaDay is a site that offers a different premium iPhone app every day for free. It’s well worth checking out to see what games and apps are being made available for free each day. In the site’s first two weeks, there have already been a variety of great titles listed to suit a wide variety of interests. It’s a site with a rapidly growing profile, that we’re pleased to be associated with in this special promotion.
If you do download FluxTunes and enjoy using the app, then please show your appreciation by leaving an iTunes review, rating the app on other sites, or by recommending the app directly to your friends in person or through social networking sites.
FluxTunes is actively supported and we’re interested in your suggestions for future features. We’re already looking at the additional capabilities that will be offered by iPhone OS3.2 when it’s released and what new features that will enable us to add to the app.

FluxTunes 1.4 now available
January 21st 2010
Version 1.4 of FluxTunes is now available. This update includes the following:
- New function to play more songs from the current artist/album (3 finger up gesture)
- Optional pause of music playback on exit
- App will now bring up the music picker on startup if nothing is queued (rather than playing from the whole library)
- Improved proximity detection behaviour (won’t trigger when in music picker, help/settings screens)
- Minor bug fixes

Indie+Relief 20th January

Indie+Relief brings together well over 100 independent Mac and iPhone developers to raise money for charities supporting the victims of the recent earthquake in Haiti. To help out simply visit the Indie+Relief site and purchase any of the listed products, including our own FluxTunes and Strimko iPhone apps. Developer proceeds from sales on 20th January will go to the listed charities. Check out the site and pick up some great software, while helping out those in extremely tough circumstances.

FluxTunes 1.3 available now

Version 1.3 of FluxTunes is now available as a free download. This update includes the following:
- Proximity detection- switches screen off when in a pocket to preserve battery and prevent inadvertent gestures (iPhone only)
- Improved dimmer settings (short dimmer time settings of 10 and 30 seconds; setting for dim darkness level from 50% to 100%; setting to hide status bar on dim)
- Sleep timer
- Bug fixes and performance improvements
Update: Note that we’re aware of a minor bug in the 1.3 release. If you set your dimmer time to ‘Never’ then FluxTunes is incorrectly dimming the display straight away. A minor update (1.3.1) is already available to correct this issue.

Strimko Lite is available

The Lite version of the Strimko™ puzzle app for the iPhone™ and iPod touch® is now available for download on the App Store.
The Lite version contains new 9 puzzles, at 3 difficulty levels, so you can try out Strimko on your iPhone or iPod touch for free.
If you like the Lite version and want to upgrade to the full version, then remember that an introductory price of US$0.99 (and equivalent prices in other countries) currently applies to the full version- that’s a 50% discount until the end of the year.
